Facilities		Primary Programme Accomodation
		At Charis we are able to offer high quality modern surroundings and therapeutic facilities. We are situated in a quiet close set back from the Mile End Road in East London. Charis offers a peaceful contemporary environment to its Residents. There are eight single rooms with their own desks, beds and wash basins. There are also a lounge, therapy room, toilet and bathroom facilities and the staff office. On the ground floor there is a dining room, kitchen, a shared laundry, toilets and lobby area. The central feature of a light well and a courtyard with a small fountain and pool give the building light, a sense of space and a feeling of peace. There is a small patio at the back and a garden area in the front. Rooms do not have TV aerial or telephone points due to the requirements of the programme. There are however TVs, VCRs and DVD players in the two common rooms. A payphone is situated in the lobby area. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. There is a Stannah chairlift to the first floor. All the rooms are bigger than the statutorily required size of 10m² and range between 11.9m² and 15.2m².
