For DRR admissions, the gross cost will be £545 per week.

Personal Expenses

When someone arrives at Charis, staff will help him claim Income Support / Incapacity Benefit .

Whilst on the Primary Programme the Resident receives personal expenses of £21.15 a week money only. All other money goes towards the gross cost of his stay. This applies to the Pre-funded scheme too.

‘Extras’

There are no ‘extras’.

'Pre-funded' placements

Since 1993 Charis has raised funds in order to provide placements where local authorities cannot or will not provide funding. The availability of these placements depends on levels of funds raised and how many placements are already taken up.

Special arrangements with funding

Charis believes that its Primary Programme recovery option should not be denied to a suitable applicant because of funding problems. Accordingly, the following special arrangements are available:

• Even if someone has no Community Care funding at all, it may still be possible for him to be admitted under our
  “Pre-funded Placement” Scheme. Please telephone and ask us on 020 7790 6278.


• If Community Care funding is insufficient for some reason (problems with budget limits or length of programme etc ) please contact us.


• If a maximum of 3 months funding only is available,
